As described in previous posts the new standard further developes the business management aspect of the standard and companies that fully embraced the 2000 revision should have little trouble converting. The Accreditation bodies appear to be exaggerating the significance of some of the changes for example having an internal audit programme and documenting the results of audits is hardly a new concept! but listed as a significant change in some of the CB literature.
