As promised the standard follows the Annex SL structure with 10 clauses:-
1) Scope
2) Normative references
3) Terms & Definitions
4) Context
5) Leadership
6) Planning
7) Support
8) Operation
9) Performance evaluation
10) Improvement
The context of the organisation is an interesting new clause with a requirement to monitor and review, taking into account internal and external issues.
Leadership significantly strengthens the top management clause. It will be interesting to see how this will be audited?
Over the coming months SBI will present a clause by clause review of the draft standard. Watch this space!
