Following recent interaction with the Healthcare sector I am sure the caring profession would benefit from a systematic approach using a simple ISO9001 based system.
Resources are short I know but a review in terms of processes, systems, people and out of the box thinking would be of significant benefit. Several trusts have some great ideas and successful processes, these good ideas need rolling out to all areas to avoid the postcode lottery in the standards of care received.
